Creative Writing:
Albert Einstein said - “If A is Success, then the formula for success is A= X+Y+Z, where X is WORK; Y is PLAY; and Z is KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT!” What do you think of Einstein's formula and what is your formula for success? Why? Have FUN😏
I think Einstein ment hard working, doing everything that needed to reach the main goal and enthusiasm by 'work' in his formula of success. Moreover other parts of it even more interesting. 'PLAY' is placed in formula to say that people have to act and show the best their side before others who has higher status(bosses for exaple) and can help them, if they want to improve their career, which equals success. 'KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT' is really important and I would say that it belong to 'PLAY' because it means that you act for pearson whose secrets you are keeping, so you'll have good relations with that person and they might help in reaching success. Also as people say: being smart is pretending to be stupid in right time. Personaly, I agree with Albert and might add "R" that would mean 'reliable people' but if things are about money and power, that are included in success, unfortunately it is impossible to get such people. Also you can't use that formula for everyone's life because of diametrically different life situations thet can happen in our lifes, therefore I'd add to formula one more variable "T" that is the most important and it would mean trics and unusual solution, which help to stand out of crowd of 'successful' people who go by beaten path.

DeleteI think that Einstein make this formula with reference to himself. Because Albert Einstein was a workaholic and first term is "Work". Its doesn't mean that work doesn't matter its mean that for someone it can be not first based part of success formula. Second term is "Play" and I will assume it mean that sometimes you need to relax or do your work with pleasure just because you may no longer enjoy the job. And final component "Keeping your mouth shut" I thing that its one of the most basis one reason only you can say something important to someone and all what you do may break. In global I agree with Einstein concern success formula but I think that be batter if formula looks like that "A=X+Y+Z * Q" where Q is your luck and you can do all correct but "Boom" and for example fall meteorite on your house where you store all money, all blueprints of inventions.

DeleteI think Einstein was so industrious that it was more like a preoccupation with work, because there is no mention of family or friends in his formula. Let X be support. I believe that the formula for success should have support, and it is from your parents and friends that you basically get it, because in our time there is nowhere without it. Then Y will be: be in a good mood.If you have a terrible mood and you will do everything with all your might just to do it, then there will be no success, you need to do what brings you a good mood. Well, the last Z, this is work. You must always work not only at some job, but also on yourself.

DeleteSomewhere I agree with this phrase, but it is not always necessary to shut up , we all have our own opinion and have the opportunity to say it. But sometimes you really need to shut up and listen to what someone want say to you. Of course work and brain play help your success. My formula for SUCCESS=L+E+R+A, where L- self love, E-purpose, R-want it yourself and A-positive. Without these items I can't do anything. For example, I stopped playing the guitar because it didn’t bring me pleasure and emotions. (Maybe I got the wrong teacher).But when I started sing, I couldn't stop and continue to do that now. Well, I try keep my formula ,anyway it doesn't always work out and Einstein’s formula suits me too…

DeleteFor some, success is a big win in a career. For the second, it is the health family and friends. But what is success? In my opinion is “success” is very individual, a person must be satisfied with his life.

I think the Einstein formula is cool, but from my point of view it needs a couple of things. The first and the most important thing should be a "G" and that's the goal you want to reach. The second one is work and that's "X" but it shouldn't just be like working hard, work should be something you enjoy, it should be like a hobby for you. The third is play and that's "Y," where you take a break from work. The next one I think is "S" and it's supoort, where your family or friends will help you in difficult time. And the last one is "Z" and that is "KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT", where you shouldn't tell much about your plans, because the result of your work will tell about your success better than 1000 words.

DeleteI think what Einstein meant is that on the way to success you have to work hard but take it all not seriously but as a game. If something didn’t work out, this is not the end, you can try again like in a game. And the closer you are to success, it means that you will receive more benefits, like a leaderboard in games. Or maybe he didn’t mean video games, but just relaxation. After a hard work, go play with the dog, play cards, take a walk on the street with someone, etc. In my case, the formula A = X + Y + Z + L, where A is success, X is work, Y is rest and games, Z is still something silent and invented by Einstein, so I will leave it, L - this is cunning and luck. "L" I added because I can be too lazy and then when my laziness turns against me, cunning and luck will help me. And just do without luck anywhere.

"PLAY" personally, I don't really understand how this is said here. I would replace it with "ENJOY". Without this feeling, it is really very difficult to succeed.
"KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT!" is a very strange item for me personally. Suppose some person will "throw mud" at you and say that you will not achieve anything, it’s hard not to answer. I would replace this item with "SUPPORT". No wonder support is called the main weapon of a person.
So my formula will look like this: Success=WORK+ENJOY+SUPPORT

DeleteWay to go! I really like your approach and your formula. Still, I'd leave "Z" (i.e. KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT) where it belongs. The point is, I understand this element a little bit different... for me it's about keeping your mouth shut about your plans and intentions for the future - not to tell the world everything beforehand. Let's imagine you were planning something huge... what about your opponents and competitors??? They could use this information against you, or they could steal your ideas and be the first. In the 21st century information is everything, don't you think so???

DeleteEinstein`s formula is very useful. Really, work mean hard working, play mean resting from work. But last point, keeping your mouth shut mean to be a Vlad. Vlad usually don`t speak a lot of so Einstein knew that in 21 century Vlad will be born and we need to be like Vlad to reach success. For me, formula of success is Work+Play+Don`t give up+Don`t be silly. I think if you are silly you can`t reach success. Yes, I think that we don`t have to be Vlad to be successful because we know a lot of successful people whose name isn`t Vlad.

DeleteI understand this “formula” as time for business and hour for fun, because without rest our work goes to nothing. You always need a rest to give yourself a break from difficult tasks. personally, my "formula" for success is to be a purposeful and persistent person, never quit without finishing anything. I fully agree with Einstein's formula, because refreshing the flow of thoughts is not an unimportant process)

DeleteEinstein was a scientist, working and playing (doing experiments) was his success. also, he hated being interrupted, so he constantly shouting to keep their mouths shut. I figured out my formula for success. First, rest takes pride of place in my formula. Working is good, but relaxing is even better. Hard work is very tiring, continuing to work will not lead to any success. Second, a clear plan of action. It is much easier to move by agreement between yourself and a piece of paper. Third, eat well. Work takes a lot of energy, and through food we get it. Fourth, take advice, do not be afraid of the opinions of others, they will push you on the right path. Fifth, share your successes, but do not brag; compare beginnings with the final you have reached. And the name of my formula is SHREK. Happy journey to success!

DeleteI completely agree with Einstein's formula. He knows as well as anyone about success. We can't succeed without work. All successful people worked hard to get where they are. Also you need to rest, so you don't get «emotional burnout». What about Z?

DeleteAlbert Einstein was interesting person , he was a genius and his success formula a bit different from our. Einstein said - “If A is Success, then the formula for success is A= X+Y+Z, where X is WORK; Y is PLAY; and Z is KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT!" but world problems can't be solved with only one formula , it's literally impossible. We can't create working formula , but we can create some rules that will help get closer to a happy life (almost success). Actually holy bible was written for this rules , but i'll create my own . The first one is to respect others and you will be respected , secondly you need to work really hard if you want to achieve you're goals and the last one means that you need to choose the way to rest . Laying on a coach and scratch you're stomach is cool , but it's really useful, you should prefer reading a book or watching a cinema. 👍

DeleteI almost fully agree with Einstein's formula for success. First of all X - work, very necessary component because without work success is impossible. But work not always need to be hard. Second one is Y - play, isnt less important than work. Why? Because Einstein included it in the formula (or because without rest we can't work, without work we can't be successful). And last one is Z - KEEPING YOUR MOUTH SHUT! Because plans like wishes must be in secret. On my mind it is very cutted formula because l think that it must include much more components and factors. ReplyDeleteThis formula was ideal for Einstein because:
Work. He direct his work skills and energy to something he liked. For him, it's meant to work.
For, me this part means, that we should work hard and choose what we like.
Play. Albert Einstein was a violinist and avid sailor. So this part of the formula is obvious.
For me, it's mean that life is a game and we should enjoy the process. Enjoy the process = enjoy our life.
Keep mouth shut. Sometimes, people condemn and distrust us and all our steps.
Someone can steal our ideas and projects.
To conclude, everyone has their formula. I don't like Einstein's formula, but it was interesting to search for information about this formula and Albert Einstein.

DeleteEinstein was certainly a genius and made a great contribution to the development of science and so on, but his formula will not work for everyone.
ReplyDeletePersonally, my formula would be like this: A=W+X+Y+Z Where W is the goal you want to achieve, X is the motivation that will move you, Y is the training that will give you the opportunity to develop in the way you want, and Z are the actions that are necessary to achieve the goal. All these components are connected in a vicious circle: without setting a goal, you will not know what you need and in which direction you want to move; without motivation, you are unlikely to be just a dreamer and not a conqueror; without study, you will not be able to wield the weapons you want; and without action and hard work you will not be able to reach your goal.
Of course, all this includes communication with the outside world, family, friends, you don’t need to completely withdraw into yourself and close yourself, because as a consequence you may become an unsociable caveman🤡
