Did you know that Bob Marley’s last words to his son before he
died were “Money can’t buy life”. So, the questions I'd like to bring up today will be connected with money...a lot of questions, actually:) Why does money talk? What would life be like without money? How important is money to you? Does having a lot of money make someone more attractive?... and finally... Can money buy happiness? Remember to be as creative as possible. You were created to create 😊, so try to see what the others don't see 😊
So those questions are ambiguous. In our world we need money not only for entertainment but also for simple surviving. Of course we can’t buy happiness but without money life turns into a battlefield for food, water and a roof over your head. In the same time money is a trap that makes people insatiable so they want more and more. And as for me if someone has a lot of money there is a question how this person get that money and who he/she becomes after that.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many problems because of money: greed, depletion of the planet's natural resources, crimes, wars etc. Those problems show us that something in our world went wrong and we need to fight with it. Without money would disappear classes of the population, people would live on equal terms and there would be harmony on our planet. We are not so lazy and stupid, we don’t need money for motivation to work, we can develop without them.
So maybe we can’t live without money now but we can change our attitude to money and not to be influenced by them.

This questions are very complicated, I'm sure that everyone has his or her own thoughts about it. Can I imagine the world without money? No. Because people would find something different. It's okay when we need to pay for something or get money from other people because we have done some kind of work. But it's not normal when someone sure that he or she can do everything just because of having a lot of money. And even worse when person thinks that someone's life can be measured in money. In this moment person loses humanity.
ReplyDeleteIn the other hand, it's very nice to think that our world is pure. But it's not true. Today everyone can by everything. And sometimes it makes me feel sad. People, who haven't a lot of money are always suffer. And usually this people are kind and hones but they can't be happy because they don't have some green papers. This way, I smoothly go to another question.
Can money by happiness? Definitely yes. As I said recently, happiness is in a small things. You can buy a puppy and be happy to the end of your life.
Nevertheless, there are things that can't be bought. True love, person's life, health and time. Take care of our health and relatives, don't forget about true love and don't waste your time.
Even though some of us try to ignore money's importance, we cannot live without it. Every day we need to pay for life, for gifts for our closest people, for entertainment and so on. Personally, I think that money has to exist in any way because a thing called ‘equivalent exchange’ has to exist. I believe that money is one of the most important things which our lives include.
ReplyDeleteIf there were no money, people would exchange their things for other things and if they would not, chaos would reign. Money is one of the two sides of the world balance: if you give, you have to get something equal in return. But there is a thing that ruins all the balance system: people’s desire to be wealthy and rich. Some people are ready to betray their family, to betray others’ feelings and lose everything to just become ‘more important’, as they think. They might even lie and steal from others (both metaphorically and not) to gain more money. I’m not saying that desire of being able to buy things you want is bad, I’m saying that not being able to stop is bad.
Money is important to me because, actually, we sort of can buy happiness with its help. With money we can afford a lot, we can make our loved ones smile and feel on top of the world. And when my closest people are happy, I am happy, too. But apart from all that, we shouldn’t forget about money’s harmful sides. It can make us blind to all good and we might be lost in the life, we might forget what is really important to us and what was the real reason for all that.
And if you ask me whether money can buy happiness, I will answer ‘Yes. But not always’. You can buy stuff for your loved ones but does it even matter if there is no one but yourself to spend it on? I may sound like a character of a Disney movie but I don’t need money if I’m going to be alone for the rest of my life. My life’s importance is in my family and friends.
And the last question to answer is if money make people attractive. I’d say that this depends on the kind of personality. Someone thinks that money is a quality that must come first, and someone believes that money is the last thing to worry about. I think that money is of a ‘middle’ importance. Money says a few things about people: if a person can earn enough to live without worries about the future, they are pretty much smart and strong-willed; if they can’t then they are either weak or haven’t found a right opportunity yet. So, to conclude, don’t judge people too fast.
And yeah, money can’t buy life.

DeleteMoney is a simple hard topic. We all depend on it; we need it just to live on. Now people are really obsessed with money and there are quite normal reasons why. Teenagers want to look cool, have the best devices, part of them want to join the most prestigious university or collage. In adulthood you have larger problems: on temporary work - insufficient payment, trying to tolerate authority’s rudeness and so on. And all we want is to have money to be on top of social chain. But in a race for money they forget about time, happiness and favourite things to do. Money controls us, and we start to work for it. Actually money needs to work for us. However, it’s impossible to imagine our life without money. The world would be like in the Stone Age, everything would depend on surviving, huge mess. Of course, money plays a big role in my life. If I were rich, some problems in my life would be solved. I want money because I want to buy the present for dear people, I want to have cool clothes, I want to attend many different courses, want travelling. But what I want more than money now is to understand what I want to do and then I think I will stop think about bread buttered on both sides. In my opinion, money can make people attractive, but only in appearance. If talk about inner beauty, money can’t change it.
ReplyDeleteWe can’t buy happiness. If you think that cool cars and clothes, knowing celebrities and this kind of things can make you happy, you’re wrong. It’s illusion of happiness which hide your loneliness. With ages you understand that spending time with friends and family, doing something just for satisfaction can make you happier than luxury life.

Money is usually important to live first, but they do not give happiness. Happiness is the people who are near, who give good emotions, support, love, so no money will buy happiness.
Does having a lot of money make someone more attractive?
Well, of course, thanks to money and medical procedures, it's possible to change some defects of appearance, but no expensive procedures will make our inner world more beautiful. In my opinion, the beauty of a person in her soul, because the appearance we do not choose and change it costs a lot of money that not all ordinary people have, but the nature, habits, behavior and communication with others depends only on ourselves.
The idiom "money talks" means that people with a lot of money have power and influence. Unfortunately it's true. Today millioners or person with smaller but big sum of money can buy not only something material for living better. They can buy for example place in the best school even if their children don't deserve it when others more talented can't afford it. They can "buy" attention and interest of other people, when other really interesting and attractive people haven't these because they haven't money. About power of money we can hear in the song "money, money, money":

But as we see not person attract others, his/her money take attention of other people. And it is really sad.
Of course not everything we can buy. Real feelings and our lives are priceless. It reduces the power of money over a person but despite of this we can't live without them. We need money for surviving and if we don't want to live in carton box.
For me money is thing we need to buy a something material to live. I think that we can make our life better without money but with big ambitions and tallent.

Maybe I'm not right, but for me money is in the first place. It will always be so. No happiness, no health, no love. And money in particular. There will be money - all this will be. There will be no money, nobody needs you. Money plays a big role in our world. At the moment, you can buy everything for money. All. And even life. Now our health can only be bought. And we buy, because we want to live. There is no other way out.
ReplyDeleteWe are accustomed to money. We can not imagine our lives without them. But I wonder what life would be without money? I guess I know the answer to this question. Our life would be no. People would do nothing then. Humanity would stand on the ground or vice versa would go down. People work and work for the sake of money. Without money it would be difficult. And with money is hard. But nobody said that it would be easy. Therefore, we must work to survive in this world.

DeleteMoney is one of the most important things for people in the modern world. With money we can do everything ,but without them almost nothing, sounds sad but is a fact of life. We all want to have enough money to meet our own needs: delicious to eat, travel, live in a spacious house, ride on your own cars, study in prestigious universities and much more. People are trying to earn more money, some go to work abroad. Without money we wouldn’t be able to live. So I think that of course it is important to earn money ,but we shouldn’t forget about the simple pleasure of life.

ReplyDeleteIt would seem, that money is just a pieces of paper with beautiful pictures. But actually, it's one of the most important thing to live. Nowadays, money play an important role in our life, and robberies are proof of it. Food, medicine, shelter, clothes - that is the least people need to have normal life. Maybe someone think that it's enough, but I thing it's not true.
So, money, their pros and cons. On the one hand it would be perfect, if you can afford spend your vacation lying in the sun near the sea every summer or skiing/snowboarding in Alps in winter, buy a big flat and a new expencive car. So, money can expand your opportunity, you can do almost everything you want, travel around the world, have a party on your own yacht, everything, where there is a will. Sounds really great!
But what about cons? People say that money can change your character, I don't know, is it true. It would be good, if I could varify it ). The most important thing - not to lose mind and think about what you gonna do.
Money can help you fulfit some of your dream, as travelling, house near the sea etc. But, to my mind, all these things can't make you really happy, because you need friends, family and loved one with whom you can share everything you have.

Come on, friend it's not a wallet. Personally for me, it doesn't matter how much money he has. Maybe rich people have many partners and familiars, but I don't think that they have more real friends.

I think happiness for everyone means differently. We can't buy friends or somethong like it, but we can buy many expensive things, which can bring us pleasure.
Now about what money means for me. I don't want money, i just want things, which i can buy for them.
If in our world money did not exist, we would not have achieved what we have now.

Firstly about Bob Marley's words. It is hard to say I agree with him because he was a Rastaman and his culture and mentality is completely different from ours. I don`t know a lot about rastamania but their ideas are connected with happy life connection with nature and an asceticism. But in our life everything is different.
In my opinion, the phrase 'money talk' means sometimes they can take us under control and we can do everything to get money.
Life without money would be a bit boring). Because everyone will have the same car, the same house, the same clothes... But it was the utopian form of this idea. Because I 'understand' money like a reward for something. We work to get some money. But if we will live without money it would harder to force somebody to do something. For example, you are a farmer and in normal life, you sell your products on a market but in 'no-money life' you would just give away your food but it's ok because you can also eat your food. But what about a mechanic who is working somewhere in a factory. How can he get some food and clothes? Maybe he can get some special cards for food etc but it is the same idea like with money or we can do like many years ago - changing our staff wi other people but the idea with money is much easier.
For me, money is really important. Not only as a way of a fan. First of all, it is a tool that can help you to get some knowledge, to travel somewhere and it is just easier to live when you know that you have some money in a pocket)).
Does having a lot of money make someone more attractive? I think it depends on a person who is going start communicating with a rich person. If everything is just because of money so there is no blame on a rich person but if everything is vice versa so of course there is nothing about being attractive.
About buying happiness - no! For example, if you are an extremely rich person and buy everything you see, one day you would just won't how to make fun, or another example you a rich gick who buys all gadgets what can even imagine and he won't get such kaif after buying a new phone like a person that collected money for it for many months.

A looooong time ago people don’t know such think as money. They hunt animals, gather berries and live in bad conditions. But one day they decided to invent money and use it as universal way of exchanging. So money is a result of many years of evolution and big event of human development. So world can exist without money but it will be awful.
ReplyDeleteAlso it born a lot of stereotypes like “money spoil people” and “rich people are bad”. We can see a lot of celebrities who donate their money and help other. It’s natural that successful people have lots of money. And it’s good if they don’t focus on it like it’s the most important in the life.
Money create for us an opportunity to live well and as we want. If you live well, you will feel...happiness. Of course it’s other meaning of this word but it’s some kind of. I think, that money is just a way to reach “real happiness”. For example, you can’t buy a pizza and be happy - you need to eat it or you can’t take a cat - you need to feed, take care and play with it, than you’ll feel a joy.
But we needn’t to forget that money it’s a reward of hard work and doesn’t come easy. So we should appreciate it but don’t make it a sense of the life.

DeleteIn my opinion, money is the most effective way to show, how much effort, time and resources were spent on something. But, I think, in future, humanity will find better currency than money. Back in times, people used natural exchange, which were efficient in small communities. Time passed, and people invented more efficient way of trade. World without money will be reached only if humanity will follow ideologies such as socialism or similar.
ReplyDeleteAll time, some people saw money, as life goal. As a result, they walked knee-deep in blood to earn more and more money and even did not noticed that. So, money must not be your purpose of life, but tool for reaching goals.
As science developed, people can afford more and more things. You can buy health, happiness and, unfortunately, much more(thanks to comrads from dark side of our society). It’s only question of time, when wealthy part of our world could buy immortality.
For me, money is only way to acquire something, if there is no other ways. Though I also use money, I see some issues in this system. But it’s theme for other topic.

If we're talking about appearance then yes, you can make plastic surgery and transform from an ugly caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly. But if you're ugly inside, no one will find you attractive. People will only use you to become closer to your money and nothing more.
"Life without money...". Sounds interesting. In this case, I can give an example of living without money. It's well-known TV-serial "The Walking Dead". This serial tells us a story where money doesn't matter anymore. The characters use them only as a heat source. And I must admit that living without money it's kinda complicated you know.
So summing up, I must say that money is our everything nowadays. But we shouldn't forget to be humane in the pursuit of happiness.

DeleteI agree, you can’t buy second life for any amount of money, you can just make your life a little longer with money. Human history has seen a lot of rich and famous persons who have died in the prime of life(for example Bob Marley died at the age 36) and they couldn’t afford second life. But in today’s world you can buy practically everything: house, business, car and even "love".
ReplyDeleteMoney - is any item for payment for goods and services. It can be not only pieces of paper(i mean banknote), it can be anything and even nothing(cryptocurrency). And I think that money created to make any exchange more comfortable.
What would life be like without money? Exactly USSR have tried to create community without money and they named it COMMUNISM,
but obviously something went wrong. But idea of communism isn’t bad, because it is "the belief in a society without different social classes in which the methods of production are owned and controlled by all its members and everyone works as much as they can and receives what they need" - Cambridge Dictionary.
I am not cynic, so money is important for me, because without money my life would be worse than now. I need money to live on, to eat normal food, to sleep in clean bad and other. Money is just a medium of exchange, but someone think that it is means for power and this "someone" wants more and more money…But I noticed that money is spoiling people, often with large amount of money people become greedy and cruel.

Of course, you have... He underwent seven heart transplants. His first heart transplant was in 1976 after suffering a heart attack following a car accident. He was 99-years-old at the time of his sixth heart transplant and died at 101 years old last year. I need hardly mention that Rockefeller was a billionaire:)

I told that with money you can make your life longer and David is a good example of that, but I don’t think that after several heart transplants he was at good condition, he was still an old man. And that is what I actually meant, over the years organism is getting depreciated and old. And no amount of money can’t buy you new young body. Also, there are many deadly disease such as AIDS, obviously money can’t help in this case(

OK, Smartie Pants, let's start with Steve Jobs... In spite of pleas from family and friends, Steve Jobs tried to cure himself through acupuncture sessions, drinking special fruit juices, visiting "spiritualists" and using other treatments he found on the internet. In other words, he delayed having operations and chemotherapy for nine months after the disease was discovered. And some cancer experts have said that Jobs may have extended his life or even survived if he had promptly tackled his cancer aggressively with scientifically proven medical treatments. So, I assume that Jobs just wasted his chance to "buy" his health.
DeleteAs to Freddie Mercury... I think, it's quite a different story - He died about 25 years ago and medical care wasn't so advanced those days as it is today. He died of AIDS and as far as I know there is no cure for HIV and AIDS yet. However, treatment CAN control these diseases and enable people to live a long and healthy life. Besides, it was Freddie's choice, if you know what I mean (his way of living was a conscious choice).
I think that money talk at all. We need money to survive and make our lives more interesting. It's all that money can give us.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand question about "life without money". Is it about whole world without any money or about one person? If it about first, I think it's really bad because people will do nothing to follow their dreams, nobody will work as a result all systems will stop. We will don't have the Internet, transport, schools and other important things without which we can't imagine our life now. So world without money will degrade and it will come back to savage times. If one person will haven't any money he or she will have two ways:be happy without money(for example in the small house with garden in countryside) or make money.
Many people when they become rich change themselves, become arrogant, rude and think that they are better than other. At the same time there are a lot of people that see rich people attractive just because of the benefit. I am constantly disagree with both types of people. I would never communicate with person who don't interesting, also if he/she has billions of dollars on his/her account. Also when I become rich any money will change me and I won't have fake friends. So if somebody wants to have me as a friend he or she should start now before I get rich😊.
I think that money can't buy happiness, love, true friends, health and sincere emotions. Money can help us make some material dreams come true, but I think it is much more difficult to understand what you really want than bring money to make it true. We need money for dignity life but we not live for money.
I think that money are fruits of our labor. And the way we spend them partly determine level of happiness. In the future I want to have enough money for living and travelling and I'm sure that I will be happy. If I will have more money than I need I will help animals and people who are in need.

The best wisdom for that topic will be russian "Don't have 100 rubles, have 100 friends". Money infuence our life more than our moods. Friends are more valuable than money—plain and simple. If someone’s stressed out and wringing their hands over financial woes, this phrase can offer a bit of relief.
ReplyDeleteCan you live without money? Heidemarie Schwermer can. This 71-year-old German lady stopped using money about 18 years ago. But no, she does not go hungry or live on the street. She does not own a house, and all her belongings fit into a tiny suitcase. Is this minimalism at its extreme? Schwermer thinks this is liberation and says she is happier now than when she owned tons of stuff.
That means you can live best life without money. Money cant make you really happy. The best way to be REALLY human is to have 2-3 friends. You cant buy real friendly moods with money because this man/woman will be with you only for making money.
Finally, I dont very like money because they make peple more cruel and greedy.

DeleteMoney talks means that money has a lot of power and influence. I think it happens because in our time we overestimate money. Someone who has a lot of money also has a full discretion and can even break the law. I think life without money is utopia. There are many good aspects in this way of life, like improving the quality of products because the manufacturer will not have to save money. But in our world this lifestyle won't work for many reasons. The most important thing is human greed. Some people always want to have more than others, so they will destroy that way of life. Personally for me money means nothing more than instrument of paymet for things i need in everyday life.I hope i'll keep up that balance through my whole life between desire of money and common sence. I can partly agree with statement that having a lot of money can make someone more attractive. But i don't think we have to talk about huge amount of money. But there are some cases when absence of finance can make someone more attractive. Can money buy happines? Honestly, i cannot answer this question because i'm only fifteen maybe you can?)

So I think money is the modern world necessity. Life would be very complicated without money. It would be inconvenient and sometimes next to impossible to exchange goods for goods or services for services nowadays. People had gone through all those on barter stages and eventually invented money we still use. But money can buy you only material things and as Krinky Friedman said : “Money can buy you a fine dog, but only love can make him wag his tail”. I agree with K. Friedman that money can’t buy love or happiness.
I don't like topic about money, because my opinion is different from other people... And i have some conflict ideas about this topic. I think that money doesn't make you more happier, but more comfortable to cry on your yacht than on your bicycle. And another thought:"Why money doesn't make people more happier? You can do everything you love. Well, you even can buy a slave if you had enough money". Thats why I trying not to think about it. Yeah I love money. And I think thebworld without money will live in apocalypse even worst than now. You know what heppens now: wars, terrorism and another. So there is to sides of a coin. Bad and good.

In the modern world it is not possible to live a life without money. For money you can not buy life, but if you get sick you will need medicines to be healthy. You can not buy life for money, but everyone needs a roof over their heads, everyone needs food and water to live . Why does money talk? Because without money it's impossible to live now. How valuable is money for me? Now I do not think that I appreciate everything as it should be, now parents are paying for everything, and therefore I do not think that money will be more important to me than something or someone I come across every day. Can money buy happiness? I think, in part, yes. Just listening to music makes us happy, but we need something to listen to this music. If you look at this question from such point of view, money can really bring happiness.

All of us has contacted with money. Absolutely everyone. In, maybe, another manifestation, but meaning is the same. Because money it isn’t only a papers with digits, round pieces of metal, banks accounts and binary options – money is, firstly, it is mark of the work what you have done. Mark of your freedom and your real opportunities. A huge part of humanity ones muse about which would be our life without money. On my mind, in this world to the fore would go not a diligence and justice, but cruelty and brutal strange. Barter would prospering. Speculations would have a common place in our life. Humans would be on the warpath all their life, because they must would be fighting for each of their possessions. It must be chaos everywhere. And there can be no questions of any progress. Because for the progress must be stability. Partly, currency provide this. It describing so fuzzy but this working like that.
ReplyDeleteMoney is the inherent part of our life. Each of our aspirations contacted with money. Most of humans living for the sake of money without even realizing it. For me money is so important thing. But important to me not a banknotes and credit cards, for me important an opportunities what can be opened for me by this money. For me important what is behind them. There are shred of thinks what can’t be bought for money. And this things different for all people. If you question me: “corrupted I am or not?” I would say: “no!”. Because there are some things for me on which for any count of many I won’t agree. But parallel existing things which I can do for such count of money what can global changed something in my life and part of which I could share with somebody who really need this. Not because I’m so generous, because after this actions you need to clear your karma. Because nobody offer you huge among of money for the your goodness, or benefit for society. Money – dirt. Money- plague, but money is a panacea too. Money is so contradictory thing. Humans so to much dependent on money. Our habits...
Does having a lot of money make somebody more attractive? Yes. It is so evidently. You must be so damn to denying this fact. Because you can be the worst crud in the world but if you have a fortune behind your shoulders – you are welcome!
So, about happiness … It depends on what you meaning under word “happiness”. I personally think that really happy human doesn’t exist now. This without reference to options. Because there is certain balance. Not everywhere equitable, not always so fair, but he is existing. There can be all stably good at human. Even if you have a lot of many and have you it at all, no matter where you live and no matter who you are you can’t be happy always. Because happiness can’t be permanent. You can be happy because it happened the way you wanted to, you can be happy because of something, but it is instant. Conception of “happiness” so abstract. And money is nothing to do with here. Because richness material, but happiness no. I think that really happy can be only mental patients with hard form of illness. For his souls there are no barriers. However I can’t consider this creatures like a humans.
