my life in such a dramatic direction towards telling that larger story of what
it means to hurt, what it means to triumph, and what it means to be human”. So, over to you!

What it means to hurt, what it means to triumph, what it means to be human? Well... this question I’ve been asking myself for a long time.. I don’t know what it means to hurt, maybe because I’ve never felt hurt and I’m speaking about moral hurt, so fortunately I can’t answer on this question now. To triumph - this phrase means a lot in my life, maybe because I do sport and each triumph very important for me or maybe because I have to make goals in my life and achieve them and result of achievements for me also triumph! Despite of hardness and “blood and tears” which I go through every time when I want to achieve my goal or win competitions, I can say that we all can triumph!! It can be something small for someone, but for you it can be very important! Each triumph should develop you and teach you something new. To be human... only three words, but how much time need to understand it? I think all life. I only start my life so to answer on this question I need to live more. Now I can say that to be human means not to hurt animals, people, our environment. It means to think not only about your problems! In my opinion I haven’t enough maturity to answer now and through ages my opinion can change. Jasmine
ReplyDeleteSo, recently I have watched the video made by photographer Cory Richards. It impressed me a lot. Really, the world around us is very difficult and confusing. But it also very different. Our experience consists of sad and happy moments, awful and exciting memories. But all of them are extremely valuable for us. Even sad and dramatic moments can teach us more. As for me to hurt a person means to betray him or to touch a raw nerve . It is so important to think about what you say . You will never hurt a person if you already know how it is to be hurt. That triumph is not possible without exhausting work and numerous attempts. And to be human means to live life full of emotions, events, happy and sad moments, be sensitive to your inner state and fillings as well as surroundings. And if you even once ask yourself these question, your are a human, for sure.

In our world people forgot how to be a good, kind person. Sometimes they do terrible things. How can we talk about humanity? How we feel about animals when we throw them outside? We all have our principles, priorities, everyone needs something. We all have a task on this earth. Man can create his own ideals and identity. A bad person never does something good. A man would still be unhappy. In my opinion, to become human, you have to treat everything around you better.
ReplyDeleteOkay, this is the most difficult topic of writing I have ever had.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, these 3 concepts are closely related.
In our world, people will do everything to achieve their goal, even if they have to do something bad.
To be honest, I think in ordinary life, we forget about our feelings, about politeness. We don't care about other people and we can hurt not even notice it. We care only about our affairs and problems. Sad to realize, but it's true...
I understand that everyone wanna be the best and feel the triumph. But if you wanna be successful, you don't need to hurt other people. You must remember that everyone has feelings and you must respect the decisions and opinions of others.
"Treat others as you'd like to be treated yourself". This is the most important rule, following which, people will gain humanity and peace in the whole world.
After I had watched this incredible video I thought about it for a long time. Because this issue amazing photos and a story told by Cory Richards made a strong impressive on me.Our world is really very confusing and it’s difficult to find the meaning of life, but we should try.
ReplyDeleteOn my mind,to hurt means to offend a person to the depths of his soul. This injured person may feel depressed and stressed
I think, the biggest triumph in a human life is a victory over himself. When you set a goal and do all your best to achieve the taggert,as a result you feel happy and successful.
To be human means to try having all the best qualities to give anyone in need good and warmth, to help those who are weaker than you. To care for those who need help and support, to love, protect nature and animals,to strive to increase peace and happiness on the Earth.

For me to be human is being yourself and not fawning every boss. Don't measure everything in money and value croneyism. Hurt this is disagree with another person. Hurt can even a word. For me triumph this is achieve the goal and no matter what it's big or small. The main thing is that after reaching conscience does not torment
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I've been asking myself these questions since they were posted. I made the main conclusion from thinking: you'll never be ready to answer them for sure. These questions make people of completely different age categories think. People are often convinced that they'll be able to answer them in old age, when they've been living for a sufficient time. The only thing that can be changed through ages isn't the existence of the answer, but the answer itself. Now my thoughts on this topic are as follows, but in a week they can be changed. We are all humans: our thinking is changing every second, regardless of age.
ReplyDeleteTo hurt, to triumph and to be human are closely related statements. To be human is to be able to exult over not only your triumphs, but also strangers'. To be human isn't to fear to hurt someone and be ready to be hurt at least once in a lifetime. To be human is to be able to express yourself without any social framework, principals and the fear that someone won't appreciate it. To be human is to perceive difficulties not as barriers, but as what is an essential part of life and to be able to overcome them. To be human is to feel the spectrum of various emotions. To be human is to stay yourself forever.

To be honest, I'm afraid to ask myself such dificult and serious questions, because when I start thinking about that, I feel like small-small creature in this big world. I understand that all my goals, triumphs, or wishes aren't important compared with other people' goals, triumphs, or wishes(I mean those, who achieved a lot, despite all the troubles). I don't know enough about pain. I can speak only about primitive pain, which quickly passes, because I have never felt the real pain. The most important triumph was when I passed my final piano exam. I knew, that I must play the best way I can. But I haven't study well all year. And when it was a week to exam, my teacher said 'You won't play in the big concert hall. You have no time to practice, so that you will play terrible'. I told her, that I have whole week to play and practice and I will play in the big hall. During that week I have been playing piano every Day for several hours, my fingers started to hurt and I hated compositions, that I played. But then, in the big concert hall, I played very good and got 10 points for an exam. That was my triumph. What about the meaning of being human? I think, that means not hurt people and other creations of nature, respect somebody's work and help those, who need a support. Of course, I'm too young to understand the true meanings of these concepts, but I tried. Thank you for reading)

ReplyDeleteSuch questions as what it means to hurt, to triumph and to be human not everyday comes into our had to think about. Cary Richards was one leg between life and death, so in my opinion it pushed him to think about such serious things.
Firstly I want to reply on the easiest question personally for me “What means to triumph?”. To triumph in my mind means to achieve a goal that you wish to do, to make real your dreams. Triumph it’s a victory over yourself, It means that you proved to yourself and to others that you can do it.
The second, I think that be a human means not to be selfish. Becouse a lot of humans think just about their problems even if it isn’t a problem, they think about things that bother only them and doing everything just to please their wishes. I urge you not be like them.
And last but not the least, for my 15 years of life I hadn’t any experience of being hurt and hope that I didn’t hurt anybody. I only know that hurt can be physical and moral. What of this two could be harder I don’t even want to know, because all of options are terrific. For each person exists something that he love, appreciate and just can’t live without, so when he loses it hurt can be enough powerful to cause a wish to end life.
To conclude, this topic wasn’t easy to me, but I’m glad that had time to think about such questions of being.
So, when I watched video and first read the question I stymied. But after that I was thinking about it and now I have an answer. What it means to hurt? I think that it is one of things which make us. Our reaction can say a lot. When everything is good of course we are happy, but when we have some trouble our reactions can be very different. What about triumph? In my opinion, it's something what we have when we go through trouble. It's important part of our life, because it drives us. So, the last question what it means to be human? I really like this question and have my own opinion about it. I think that to be human means be human every time and everywhere. In connection with recent events I saw a lot of panic on the streets. And I think that now we can understand who really live with us. To be human it's transmit good emotions, feelings and energy in our world.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, to each person to the question “What kind of person do you want to become?”, I answer in different ways. To be happy, someone needs a certain amount of money, dating, houses, or just a level passed in the game. Our life is a series of events, successes and falls. Only when a person is happy and in harmony with himself does he feel full. Life is too short to spend it on the wrong things. I would like to do what I sincerely love. Just do what you love in the company of friends and family. After all, the worst scenario for me will be: to work in the wrong job, to communicate with the wrong people, to read the wrong books, or to live in a wrong place. To summarize, I want to say that often people in pursuit of something not needed by themselves and only at the end understand that happiness was different ...

ReplyDeleteFirstly, I want to say that almost everyone in this world thinks only to themselves. People do not care how to go towards the goal. I think that you should Treat others as you want to relate to yourself.
otherwise you can offend someone close to you or even lose him forever (((
Triumph, speaking of my “victories”, the biggest triumph was when I passed all my exams after the ninth grade.
And at the end
guys be kinder.
I sometimes don’t understand why the people around are so angry.
If you want to consider yourself a person, then stop doing things like nonhumans.
Just be human, it's not that hard)

my english is very bad for such a topic ((

DeleteWhen I watched the video made by Cory Richards, I was very impressed with his story.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think about the difficult questions, how to hurt, what is triumph, and what it means to be human ...
I don't know how you can hurt a person, it can be physical or moral hurt. In my life, I cannot do bad to my loved ones, but that doesn’t mean that no one will be able to hurt me, if that happens, then I have friends and family will help me. The triumph is important to me because I have been dancing since I was 6, and that is part of me. I spend a lot of time doing this for almost 12 hours every week and it's only with a trainer. I participate in many competitions, and I had both first and last places, and the trophy is not the main thing, it will just stand, and your skills will grow, I had both happiness and tears. But if you want to defeat yourself you have to go on and never go back. The difficultt question for me is to say what it means to be human. In my opinion, this is when you put other people above yourself, when you can help and do it not for a reward, but for a simple "thank you", when in your life the main family and love, not money. When I grow up, something will change, but not now. Alina Malevytska
I don’t know where to start... but .. I want to say that the video about Cory Richard really drove me crazy. I was really impressed his story.
ReplyDeleteIn the first place, man’s evil principle, it is originally in his nature and it develops more and more with the course of the history of his life. If you ask me what it means to be human, I’ll say it is to take all your negative properties and turn them into positive. Firstly, it means being honest with yourself and then with others. Look at now...now we are studying, working and just wasting our time on something. But once, we’ll come to realise that for much of our life we have been mistaken and failed. Not only to comprehend our mortality but we have failed to appreciate it and as a result we have failed to make the most of our life. We turn our backs on the most important duty that we possess to live a life that is rich in experience that's of our own independent choosing. Also, to be human it’s means help others who are not able to help themselves. And it doesn’t always have to be a person, most often it is necessary for animals. Most often we become “human” when we know that we have little time left. Why don’t we make death our closet companion, so that we can finally have a second, a millisecond to appreciate that little bit of time that we’ve left. Last but not least, let us live well, so that we may die well. I mean, to live well, we must recognize our existence as early as possible. Respect and support everyone around you. Only by appreciating every minute you’ll achieve triumph.

DeleteAfter watching this video, I asked myself the question: What does it mean to be human? Many people think that this is to feel yourself , but this is not enough. I think to be human means to feel other people and the world around you. Of course, this is a very philosophical question and to answer it exactly you need to see a lot. It’s hard for me to answer the question of what pain is. I think psychological pain is the biggest hurt.About triumph, for me it’s achievement of own goals ,not your parents or company goals, because achievement own goals gives the greatest triumph.Dima Manov
ReplyDeleteThis video literally made me sick. A man who was expelled from the school for the homeless at the age of 14, found the strength to fight. Now a lot of people despair after a little failure, but not him he never despairing, but enduring it silently. He almost died in an avalanche in the Himalayas, this moment in his life changed him but didn’t break him. And made him realize that knowing hurt, what it means triumph and what it means be human.
ReplyDeleteIf I were him, after a shock like this, I wouldn’t be able to climb any further, but not him. Cory is an example of an unstoppable spirit.Cory Richards is an example of someone who doesn’t break at first fail, but will go all the way. I will always admire such people.
For me to hurt... hmmm, I don’t even know. But I know when it really hurts you want to give it all up and shut yourself up and just find some peace, but if you do more, maybe you wait triumph. Always your efforts and hard work will lead to victory, your personal triumph.
To me being human is to feel. To feel the pain of the nearest one, the joy of achieving the goal, the fear of falling. If you don’t feel, then you don’t live you just exist.
Masha Sologub
What for me «hurt»? It can be physical or moral pain. Physical is when something hurts, bakes. And moral pain is when it’s hard on the soul, you constantly think about something. I think if physical pain can be drowned out after drinking a pill, then moral is not so simple. From the video we see how difficult it is for him, but he does not give up! This is a prime example what not giving up.
ReplyDeleteTriumph. For me, this is the peak that everyone can overcome for themselves. Each of us has a goal that we would like to achieve. Since I am a schoolboy, my great goal is to finish school successfully. I think when I finish it I will have other goals)
human. For me, to be a person is when he has a full-fledged inner world, when he is moved apart not only from the outside, but also inside. Man is that being who can sympathize and help, give advice and support. Being a human is difficult, but possible.
