Go for ZNO 2019: usage problems: Bad, badly

•         Bad is an adjective and, therefore, must not be used as an adverb after an action verb.  Badly is an adverb and, therefore, must not be used as an adjective after a linking verb, that is, “feel bad,” not “feel badly.”

•         She was in a bad accident.

•         She was hurt badly in the accident
